After a great deal of discussion with the team here at SUP Warehouse, we have put together a list of our essential accessories you will need to get your hands on this year. Trialling and testing everything from wetsuits to waterproof bags, we have finally been able to put together a list of our top 6 products to assist you on all your paddleboarding adventures.

1. WETSUIT

We absolutely love this life jacket for many reasons. The first being its incredible flat fit which makes it perfect for on the board and the use of neoprene in the life jacket’s construction favours mobility, which helps you remain safe whilst enabling movement. This is essential for both comfort and practicality which is why we voted this jacket as our number one choice this year.

3. WATER BOTTLE

We are big on hydration and practicality which makes the Explorer 550ml an excellent choice. This stainless steel bottle is stylish and robust. The closure allows for the bottle to be carried comfortably and will attach to your backpack/ bag with ease, making it ideal for strapping to your kit when on the board. Another key feature which stood out to us is the extra large opening also allows for ice cubes, easy filling and quick cleaning. We also became a fan of this bottle when we discovered that its construction is free from any harmful substances such as phthalates and estrogen-active substances.

4. SUNGLASSES

O’Neill Harwood Polarised Sunglasses (Grey/Crystal) £39.99

Since bringing these to SUP Warehouse, they have been nothing short of popular. O’Neill really constructed a killer pair of sunglasses which not only look great on a variety of face shapes but also do an excellent job protecting your eyes with excellent Green UV Category 3 polarized lenses. This has proved essential in keeping you comfortable when on the board in sunny weather conditions.

5. DRY BAGS

It’s even in the name as to how essential these dry sacks are, they will become your best friends on and off the board. Not only are they perfect for keeping all your items protected from water, they are easily accessible and come in a range of sizes from 10, to 5 to 2 litres, making them a great companion for your paddle boarding trips. Made from lightweight ripstop fabric, we love the colour, design and functionality of these 3 dry sacks and could not recommend them enough.

6. WATERPROOF BAG

This waterproof bag is a must have when venturing out in all weather conditions. Not only will it fully protect your kit from any water, its durability and size makes it perfect to strap onto your paddleboard. Offering a roll top closure, welded seams and a waterproof zip, this bag enables easy access whilst securing all your items with a total volume of 30 litres! There's a great deal of space in this backpack and that's why we had to include it in our SUP essentials.
